Yselka hesitated, then shook her head. "I know full well how it is to be marriage bait. But...even if the dragons thought you had the strength, you cannot be a rider."
Candidates had to be healthy and able-bodied. "However, I can talk to my father and grandfather. *They* will not allow a fosterling to be treated badly, even by her own family."
There were advantages to being the full Blood granddaughter of Ista's Lord, after all. "Do you trust me that much at least?"

Lunesta stopped and just shook her head. A wry smile spreading over her features. "I am able in all but a few things. I am more then strong, but my coloration is indeed my downfall." She said as she shook her head and sighed softly. She then tilted her head as the other woman began speaking. She continued to eat the bubbly pie in silence and then smiled faintly. "Father wouldn't be too happy about it, but Ista is more respected then Half-Circle." She commented lightly as she licked a little filling from her finger.
"Father will have to listen, and yes I trust you." She said lightly as she continued to eat her bubbly pie. Stopping for a moment and looking at the other woman. "Elsewise I wouldn't even be talking to you, even for the sake of you being a dragon rider." She said truthfully. She was truthful, she didn't talk to people she didn't trust, unless she had to.

Yselka smiled. "I suspect me being a rider makes me a little easier to trust?"
Bubbly pie, more, eaten, the juice dripping down her chin. She grabbed a handkerchhief from somewhere to catch it before it fell on her expensive gown.
"But your father does not even need to know I spoke with them. After all, he has to go back to Half Circle, and what he does not see..."
...that would not hurt him, not at all. Her bronze flitted back, stealing a piece of bubbly. "Rebel!"
