Height: 5'11"

Description:
Celestine could be thought of as the epiphany of beauty. Standing at a staggering height of 5'11" and weighing 140lb, she is long limb and subtly curved. Her dainty breasts are perky and her rear almost non existent. Granted, her nose is larger than she'd like. Also, her thinly plumped lips don't have the fullness of most.
Though it was said that could be thought of the epiphany of beauty, it was never mentioned that she was. Still the girl could be considered attractive, even if one is put off my her stern, if not bored expression.
The woman's complexion has a tint of brown to it from her years so travel. However, when the colder seasons descend, her skin is quick to revert to a pale hue. Had her skin not been so sensitive Celestine would probably have a darker complexion.
Her hair falls past her shoulders, and but still a few inches from reaching the middle of her shoulder blades. Her bangs are clipped to the side with a hairpin, but had that been absent, they would veil her left eye. Her dark mane would been said to be one of her charms. It glistens fiercely, when light is she upon it.
Celestine's manner of dress, being a merchant's daughter is a bit extravagant. While her usually shirts retain their simplicity, her skirts are an array of color. And it seems she almost has different colors and designs for each day.
Pants are a rarity for her and she will only wear it when necessary. However, her arms are always decorated with bracelets she had collected from her travels.
History:
This story began with two daughters. Both being bestowed with beauty, but one still outranking the other. Their father a failing merchant and a mother who supported him. Their father needed something, anything to attract a crowd. What he found was that one of his daughters had a way of charming others. Was by her features, or something more? The man didn't know or cared. Through this daughter, he obtained sufficient wealth.
So, now two daughters and one favored over the other. The family traveled all across Pern, being that was what merchants usually did to earn a living. As the daughter enchanted, both sisters were exposed to the different lives within Pern. Ignorance and bias taught them patience. Wisdom and knowledge expanded their perspective, and music taught them beauty.
However, as seasons passed, the daughter's natural charm had began to wane. She was maturing, so the enchantment which veil people's eyes were lifting. Her father still looked to the daughter, so she had to find a new way to charm.
Words of false interest and reassuring touches had been her new charm. The daughter had became a flirt, and a good one at that. Her father certainly did not mind, but her mother did. She would discuss the daughter's behavior to the father, and he would dismiss it.
The mother decided to take matters into her own hands. Ista Weyr was their next destination, and when they had arrived, the mother's objective was to find a Search dragon. It didn't take long to find them. The mother explained that she felt this daughter was fit to be a Dragonrider, while truly not really knowing if that was the case.
With a nod, the Searchrider agreed to stop by and take a look at the daughter. It happened the day the family was appointed to leave. The Searchrider came asking for this daughter. Two daughters stood before him, but neither took a step forward. The dragon had already made his choice, however. Both were fit to stand, but one outranked the other.
Celestine, the mother told the rider. It was Celestine that wished to be a Dragonrider. The young woman was slightly surprised, but she had known her mother's ploy. She did agree to stay in Ista, however. She had grew tired of being used by her father.
So off Celestine went, leaving with the Searchrider. But who outranked who in the end? Would it be surprising if it were not Celestine?
Personality:
What Celestine doesn't have in beauty she makes up in grace. She's well mannered, yet has a condescending undertone to her voice. Those who are dull will surely not comprehend it. And those that do? That would only make things more interesting for her. Being a master at her trade, she blends well and associates with most, even if she has ill feelings towards them. All the better to wound them them with if they're foolish enough to trust Celestine with their soul. The young woman isn't spiteful, merely resourceful. She's a pleasant person to converse with, just not a pleasant person to cross.
She has become very knowledgeable, knowing a little bit of everything or at least most things. This came about from her travels, but she's not one to boast of it. She's actually pretty modest in this regards. Is it because she is kind? Not in the slightest. Experiencing so much had sacrificed her a life of normality. She isn't proud of being one of the people who don't have a concept of what home is.
Besides knowledge isn't going to bend people to one's will. Knowledge would make one more eligible to find the weak spots, but something else is needed. And this is why Celestine is flirtatious. More of a habit than a trait, she has learned that people are more likely to be persuaded by false affection and compliments.
As to the matter of her choice of bedding, that's a secret. Knowledge wasn't the only thing she discovered while she was traveling. Celestine had learned where her interest was in regards to the sexes. She toys with both, but only wishes to have one. Though Celestine does not declare that she prefers the same sex. After all, that would disappoint the males and make her flirts less effective.
