K'vil is an older greenrider, around sixty. He is Z'war's long term weyrmate, and is bisexual, but prefers males. The pair lost their third weyrmate, a female greenrider named I'elda during the plague. He is feminine in personality, but not the classic queen. To many people's surprise he is actually large in build and tends to be well muscled, even at his age.
